Protests and xenophobic violence against immigrants in South Africa have returned to the country’s streets for two weeks. The anti-foreigner group March and March held new protests this week in Tshwane and Johannesburg and reports are multiplying of groups of men armed with machetes, clubs and sticks making raids in search of foreigners, accusing them of taking jobs that should be for South Africans.
