Funeral arrangements for Jone Vakarisi have been confirmed in a social media post by Lifi & MT Visualz Production, inviting friends and family to gather in remembrance.
According to the post, reguregu will be held on Tuesday, April 28, and Wednesday, April 29, at the Mead Road Hall. On Thursday, Vakarisi’s body will be taken to Mead Road Housing.
The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, May 1, in the village of Lovoni, Levuka.
Vakarisi died on April 16 while in the custody of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua, Suva, hours after being taken in for questioning.
The Fiji Police Force has classified the case as murder, and investigations are ongoing.
