The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said that the relatives of a person submitted a report to the Criminal Investigation Department and the North Amman Police Directorate that he had been absent from his home for more than two weeks and that contact with him had been lost. A special investigation team was formed to follow up on the circumstances of his disappearance and search for him.
The media spokesman confirmed that the investigation team, by collecting information about that person and his surroundings, suspected two people of having anything to do with his disappearance. They were arrested and interrogated. They confessed to stabbing him to death following a dispute between them, and buried his body in an empty area north of the capital.
Through their evidence, his burial place was reached, his body was exhumed, and the crime instrument was seized. Investigations are still underway in preparation for referring the case to the judiciary.
