“This is natural, because younger employees are still looking for their direction, they work more often in fixed-term, seasonal jobs. According to the 2024 data of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the average working life in the youngest group (15-24 years) in Lithuania is only 1.4 years – almost the same as the OECD average (1.3 years)”, V. Jakutė compared.
Karolis Blaževičius, executive partner of the personnel selection company Indigroup, seconded that promising, young employees under the age of 25 tend to change jobs more often, because sometimes they develop faster this way.
