Media reports confirmed that the shoes of a number of England national team players and basic training equipment were stolen from a truck that was on its way to the national team’s residence.
The English newspaper “Daily Mail Sport” revealed that the stolen items included shoes belonging to the most prominent stars of the national team, in addition to official championship balls and some main training tools.
The equipment was stolen while transporting the shipment from West Palm Beach, Florida, to the England national team’s headquarters in Soup Village, Missouri, where the team resides for several weeks during the tournament.
According to the report, the shipment contained complete equipment for preparations, including technical analysis tools, Tuchel’s tactical boards, and massage tables, but a large part of it did not reach the camp.
The sources indicated that the technical staff was surprised that the remainder of the shipment did not exceed one ball.
