The Muscat Stock Exchange “30” index closed today, Thursday, at 7,657.96 points, down 13.47 points, or 0.176 percent, compared to the last trading session, which amounted to 7,671.43 points.
The trading value amounted to 17 million, 962 thousand and 559 Omani riyals, a decrease of 47.36 percent compared to the last trading session, which amounted to 34 million, 121 thousand and 518 Omani riyals, according to the Omani News Agency.
The report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market value decreased by 0.168 percent from the last trading day and amounted to approximately 36.74 billion Omani riyals.
The value of non-Omani purchases on the stock exchange amounted to 3 million and 349 thousand Omani riyals, accounting for 18.64 percent, while the value of non-Omani sales amounted to 3 million and 303 thousand Omani riyals, or 18.39 percent, while the net non-Omani investment increased by 46 thousand Omani riyals, or 0.25 percent.
