Today, the Municipality of the Capital witnessed a massive women’s event commemorating the mandate of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, organized by the women’s body mobilization under the slogan “Whoever I am his master, then Ali is his master,” with a wide official and popular presence.
At the event, cultural activist Amat Al-Khaleq Al-Houthi reviewed the implications of commemorating the Day of Wilayah, with which God perfected religion and completed His blessings, pointing to the status of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in the hearts of Yemenis and their connection to him since they entered Islam.
She stressed that commemorating this occasion represents a renewal of loyalty to Imam Ali’s approach based on justice, faith, and jihad in confronting the forces of tyranny and arrogance.
For her part, cultural activist Fadia Al-Dimashqi explained that the nation today is in dire need of the sincere succession of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in response to the orders of God and His Messenger, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, and to emulate his path of steadfastness, insight, and facing challenges.
She pointed out that the Great Messenger Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, announced on the day of Ghadir Khumm the announcement of guardianship to the nation when he raised the hand of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, saying, “Whoever I am his master, Ali is his master,” in a great stance that embodied the importance of guardianship in the path of the Islamic nation.
The posts renewed their affirmation of loyalty to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, the figures of guidance, and disavowal of the nation’s enemies.
