The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced after the incident in Tivat.
“Throughout its history, Montenegro has been recognized as a hospitable country, where we sincerely welcome every well-intentioned guest,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a post on the Iks network.
We remind you that citizens of Serbia were returned from the Tivat airport today. After that, the Serbian BIA spoke tonight and said that they do not advise the President of Serbia to come to Montenegro.
“Ahead of the Summit in Tivat, we will do everything to welcome our friends, allies and partners at the highest level and ensure the successful and dignified holding of this important international event for us.
As a responsible and credible NATO member, Montenegro guarantees a safe, secure and pleasant stay to all its guests.
Our priority remains that no secondary circumstance overshadows the success of the Summit and the common goals that we promote with it,” the MFA stated in a post on the Iks network.
