Former police officer Milovan Pavićević announced that the information that as the former head of the Security Center Nikšić covered up any event, as well as that any member of his family was arrested for robbery, is incorrect.
He reacted to the text “Data will be valid to keep him in hand”, in which phone messages from the Sky application of his former colleagues Ljub Milović and Goran Stojanović are quoted.
“The information that, as the head of the Nikšić Security Center, I covered up any event or criminal offense, as stated, in the area of responsibility of the Danilovgrad Security Department, is untrue. The professional public is familiar with police procedures and the manner in which police officers act upon reports of security events, misdemeanors and criminal acts, but for the sake of the lay public, I state that I could have influenced anyone, that I had influenced the police officers of the Danilovgrad police, apart from me, police officers would have been held criminally responsible until now on which I allegedly ‘influenced’, acting police officers and the prosecutor who acted in the specific case. On the contrary, nothing happened, and based on my professional experience, I believe that the officers of the Police Administration responsible for working and dealing with the ‘SKY’ material had enough time to check the veracity of the information presented in the records and files of the Danilovgrad police and the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, so is more than an indicative term for media publication of untrue information without prior institutional verification.
The information that a member of my family committed a robbery in Danilovgrad is incorrect, and that is in the way it is presented in the untrue “SKY” communications. It is true that I was informed by my family that our member, while staying and betting in a betting shop in Danilovgrad, had a disagreement with a worker in the same, who filed a complaint against him. My only request was addressed to the family members to inform the police of the truth and enable the establishment of the facts, and on that occasion I did not have any form of communication with any police officer in Danilovgrad. After the procedure was over, I learned from members of my family that statements were taken in their capacity as citizens, that the employee of the betting shop who filed the report in the presence of her family members was questioned, that the police checked the statements and reviewed the video surveillance footage from the facility, as well as that the police informed the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica and that the acting prosecutor declared that there were no elements of misdemeanor or criminal responsibility. All the case files are in the Danilovgrad Security Department and in the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, so the information that a robbery was committed, that a member of my immediate family was arrested and that I, as stated, covered up the case, are untrue.
Goran Stojanović is available to the police officers of the Police Directorate, and Ljubo Milović will be available when the Police Directorate realizes the international warrant, considering that a longer period of time is required, so they will be able to determine the motives and reasons for which the two ‘SKY’ interlocutors dealt with me, my family, in their private communication, untruths, as well as offensive and malicious comments, and as stated in the text, under under the condition that it is authentic data,” writes Pavićević in his response.
