Martyr Al-Hafiz, June 25, 2026 (SPS) The three-month training course for young men and women in the field of ear, nose and throat diseases was concluded today, Thursday, in the presence of the Minister of Public Health, Mr. Adah Ibrahim Ahmeem, and executives from the Ministry.
The course was supervised by the Ministry of Public Health in cooperation with the Spanish “La Vicuña” Association

At the conclusion of the course, the group conducted a practical review of the experiences and knowledge it obtained during the training period, which mainly focuses on dealing with medical conditions that do not require urgent intervention, such as conducting examinations and treatments for minor medical conditions.
In a speech by the Minister of Public Health on the occasion, he highly appreciated the training process, considering it an important gain that enhances self-sufficiency in this field, stressing that the Ministry supports this approach.
For his part, the Director of the Health Complex, Mr. Ahmed Bazid Bouna, thanked the Training Directorate for its follow-up and monitoring of this training throughout the period allotted for it.

In this context, the specialist in ear, nose and throat surgery and the supervisor of the training process, Dr. Al-Saleh Bishri Al-Kuri, explained in a statement to (SAS) that the process lasted for three months, mixing the theoretical and practical aspects, and that those who underwent the training will support the headquarters of the central department and relieve pressure on it through their presence in sub-departments affiliated with the central department in all states, indicating that the group that will undertake these tasks will undergo intensive and deeper training for a period of two years.
