Issued in Issue No. 44 of the Official Gazette, Law No. 26-12 of June 8, 2026 amending and supplementing Law No. 04-08 of August 14, 2004, relating to the conditions for practicing commercial activities.
The text of the new law stated in its third article that Article 8 of Law 04-08 is amended and supplemented. It is an article that specifies persons prohibited from registering in the commercial registry, meaning those prohibited from practicing any commercial activity.
This concerns every person involved in committing the following misdemeanors or felonies: violations related to the movement of capital, drug trafficking, tax fraud, money laundering, financing terrorism and sabotage, financing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, persons and entities registered on the unified sanctions list, as well as the national list of terrorist persons and entities.
