On Saturday morning, the Eastern Military District thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotic substances loaded with electronically guided balloons. Through surveillance, the Border Guard units were able to monitor and deal with them and drop their cargo inside Jordanian territory in coordination with the security services and the Narcotics Control Department. The seized items were transferred to the competent authorities to take the necessary measures.
