Potrerillos, Cortés
A double homicide recorded in the Lomas de Manacal sector, in the municipality of Potrerillos, Cortés, has left two men dead after being attacked with a firearm inside a home.
One of the victims was identified as Marco Antonio Clavasquín, affectionately known as “Toñito”, originally from Potrerillos and recent resident in Villanueva.
According to preliminary information, the man had lost a leg due to an illness. The second victim has not yet been identified, although it is presumed that he would be an acquaintance of Clavasquín.
The scene was marked by the pain of the family members, especially the wife of “Toñito”, who fainted when confirming the tragic news at the scene.
Until now, it is unknown how the victims arrived at the site and the circumstances under which the attack occurred, as well as the identity of those responsible.
Agents of the National Police carry out the corresponding investigations to clarify the crime.
Family, friends and neighbors of the community deeply regret what happened, in the midst of an atmosphere of general consternation.
