Tom Pidcock took the victory yesterday to the second edition of the Andorra MoraBanc Clàssicathe professional race of ICU category 1.1 driven by Carlos Veronawho finished second in the test, in a day that had a podium made up entirely of runners resident in the country with the third position of the American Sepp Kuss. After last year’s inaugural edition, the event wanted to take a step forward and consolidate, with the immediate goal of rising from category to 1.Pro (the second level of cycling tests, only behind the World Tour), and the organization gave it a positive assessment. In this sense, the Lidl-Trek cyclist Carlos Veronahe stated that “I am very happy with how the race went, with many more people on the route, at the start or at the finish” and added that “after the first edition last year, we have taken a step forward and I think that this race has come to stay at one hundred percent”. In addition, the resident cyclist he stated that “I think that the level of the race this year was higher with more teams and also better runners, and the goal is to follow this line next year”, and he concluded that “for those of us who live here in Andorra it is a pride to be at home and to be able to do a race like this in an unbeatable environment”.

Pidcock’s final attack
