The prime minister announced that Operation Cleansing Fire would be launched to free Hungarians from the “political and economic mafia”. As part of this, they initiate the termination of the mandate of the President of the Republic Tamás Sulyok by amending the Basic Law. The parliamentary mandate is limited to twelve years.
