DOHA, May 26 (SANA) Syrian and Qatari officials held talks in Doha aimed at strengthening economic relations and expanding investment cooperation across multiple sectors in support of shared development interests.
Syria’s Investment Authority Director General Talal al-Hilali met with Chairman of the Qatari Businessmen Association Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani to discuss ways to enhance bilateral economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
According to a statement published by the Syrian Investment Authority on Telegram on Tuesday, the discussions focused on opening new avenues for investment partnerships and encouraging joint projects across a range of sectors.
Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening private-sector cooperation and expanding opportunities that contribute to mutual economic benefit.
The talks come within broader efforts to enhance Arab economic cooperation and develop new investment partnerships between Syria and Qatar in support of economic development and shared interests.
