A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for the country as strong winds are expected to produce hazardous sea conditions on Thursday and Friday.
The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) says marine users may face difficult navigation, unpredictable swells, and increased sea spray, with small boats at risk of capsizing.
Winds of 15 to 25 knots (30 to 45 km/h) are forecast, along with sea swells of 1.5 to 2.5 metres in open waters.
A tropical wave is also expected on Saturday, bringing the possibility of gusty winds and showers. Conditions are expected to ease slightly over the weekend before strengthening again early next week.
Marine users are urged to monitor official updates and exercise caution.
