With the new Q7, the Audi brand builds on its extremely successful heritage in the SUV segment. The third generation of this successful model is a versatile companion, both for busy daily schedules and for weekend trips and long trips. The Q7 sets standards in terms of spaciousness, driving dynamics, comfort and technology. The same applies to the irreplaceable exterior design due to its strong silhouette and expressive digital lighting technology. Available with five, six or seven seats, the Q7 delivers maximum versatility and everyday practicality. Passengers will enjoy a spacious interior, including an optional illuminated panoramic sunroof with variable transparency.
It draws power from a 3-liter V6 diesel engine that develops either 220 kW (299 hp) or 180 kW (245 hp) of power with MHEV plus technology, including a powertrain generator that temporarily supplements the powertrain with up to 18 kW (24 hp) of additional power. The electric supercharger also provides strong starting performance.
The expected start of sales of the new Q7 model in Croatia is during June 2026, when the prices will also be known.
– For more than 20 years, the Audi Q7* has been the embodiment of the perfect premium SUV. We continue this mission with a new generation. It combines a sporty, powerful design with a very versatile interior, first-class materials and a whole range of technologies. A flexible seating arrangement with up to seven seats, a large panoramic roof for a feeling of spaciousness and high-quality, harmoniously coordinated materials underline its premium status. Reliable performance, which comes from a robust powertrain with MHEV plus technology and quattro all-wheel drive, makes the new Q7 a versatile all-rounder for work, family and leisure – says CEO of the Audi brand Gernot Döllner.
Regardless of the terrain, the Audi Q7 since 2005 has represented a combination of unmistakable quattro performance and superb everyday practicality. The Audi brand builds on these advantages with a new generation of large premium SUVs. Thanks to its imposing proportions, high shoulder line and striking front end with the brand’s signature Singleframe grille, the new Q7 makes a unique impression on the road.
In the interior, a handful of space awaits passengers. The Q7 comes standard with five seats. For the first time, two individual seats in the second row are also optionally available. The additional two seats in the third row transform the Q7 into a six-seat vehicle, enhancing the business-class feel and comfort of this model on long journeys. The popular seven-seat layout is also available as an option, allowing for the installation of three child seats. All seats have electric adjustment. Another standout feature for top trim levels is the large, illuminated panoramic sunroof with variable transparency.
Storage compartments in the doors and in the new center console add to the everyday practicality of the Audi Q7. The new center console has a spacious decorative border and space for wireless charging of two smartphones according to the Qi2.2 standard, along with extra large cup holders. The five-seat version has a trunk capacity of up to 806 liters. By folding the backrests of the second row of seats, the space increases to 2075 liters. The seven-seat version offers up to 722 liters of luggage space behind the second row of seats and a maximum volume of 1980 liters behind the first row of seats.
Lighting plays a special role in the appearance of the new Q7. The optional digital matrix LED headlights with micro LED modules are designed with technology that can directly project high-resolution light patterns, opening up numerous possibilities for adaptive light distribution and lighting assistance. At the rear, the third-generation digital OLED taillights feature a communication light and an active digital light signature. The Audi Q7 offers up to eight digital light signatures for the rear and front lights. Digital OLED panels, with more segments than in previous generations, enable attractive designs with three-dimensional effects in the taillight signatures. The projection light in the door is a new feature. When the driver and front passenger doors are opened, a white diamond is revealed, greeting passengers and lighting the way to the vehicle.
In the Q7 model, Audi now integrates lighting functions much more closely with driver support features. For example, using lane guidance lights or orientation lights, important information from the support system is displayed directly in the driver’s field of vision in front of the vehicle with a direct visual reference to the surroundings. These lighting features help increase driving safety. The advanced direction indicators are the first of their kind.
At night, the direction indicators project a light signal onto the ground in front and behind, which additionally warns other road users, such as cyclists, about changing lanes or turning. The model also offers various support functions for the driver, such as adaptive driving assistant plus, which supports the driver during acceleration, braking, maintaining speed and distance, and staying in the driving lane. This increases driving comfort, especially on long journeys. The practice parking feature allows customers to teach their Audi Q7 individual parking maneuvers. The new reverse assist helps when exiting, for example, dead ends.
At launch, the new Q7 will be available at authorized Audi dealers with a 3-liter V6 diesel engine with 220 kW (299 hp) and 630 Nm of torque or 180 kW (245 hp) and 500 Nm. The 3-liter V6 diesel engine with MHEV plus technology has an electric compressor for direct throttle response.
MHEV plus technology, including an advanced powertrain generator, supports the powertrain with up to 18 kW (24 hp) of additional power. The 3-liter V6 diesel engine therefore offers a strong start and very economical driving. The Q7* is equipped as standard with an 8-speed tiptronic transmission and quattro permanent all-wheel drive with a new center differential with limited slip and preload. Customers who opt for the top level classic quattro drivetrain with limited-slip differential will benefit from improved traction and light steering response, an even more agile yet stable driving feel and particularly precise steering, for example during quick and sudden load changes.
The standard suspension with steel springs ensures a superior driving experience. Optionally, adaptive air suspension or adaptive air suspension sport with controlled damping make the Q7 even more agile and versatile.
The new Q7 is produced in Bratislava, just like the previous two generations. It will be available to order from June 2026, with deliveries starting in September.
