In the festive atmosphere of Villa Dalmacija in Split, the 83rd birthday of Slobodna Dalmacija, the most widely read Dalmatian newspaper, which has been following the life of Dalmatia and its people for more than eight decades, was celebrated.
The celebration was attended by numerous guests from political, cultural, scientific, economic and public life, friends of the house, associates and partners, as well as this year’s Slobodna Dalmacija award winners.
The central part of the evening was the traditional awarding of awards for lifetime and annual achievements in the fields of art, science and journalism, as well as awards for radio, television and digital journalism and the “Heart of Dalmatia” award, which is awarded for exceptional contribution to the community.
