The second round of the presidential elections abroad ended without incident and with the full scrutiny of all tables installed outside the country. After the end of election day, the transfer of the material from the 219 voting locations in different parts of the world to Peru began.
As reported by the Chancellerythis process is already underway and will conclude on Wednesday, June 10.

All material will be sent directly to the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE)entity in charge of continuing with the corresponding stages of the electoral process.
The election day in the countries of the world It concluded normally and fluidly thanks to the coordinated work between the consular offices and the electoral authorities.

In total, it was possible to complete the scrutiny of 100% of the 2,506 voting tables installed abroadwithout incidents being recorded during the development of the day.
In addition, the process officially ended after completing the count of records in all consular headquarters.

Voting for Peruvians residing outside the country was carried out in 219 voting locations distributed in 73 countries, under the coordination of 119 consular offices.
As part of the process, the merger of 490 voting tables was applied, mainly in cities in Europe and the United Statesa measure that was carried out in accordance with current electoral regulations.
Likewise, the consular headquarters exhibited copies of the electoral records, complying with the provisions of the Organic Law of Elections and guaranteeing transparency for the interested Peruvian community.

The logistical deployment developed by the Chancellery made it possible to guarantee the right to vote of thousands of Peruvians residents abroad.
The institution highlighted the work carried out by consular officials and the support of hundreds of volunteers who participated during election day, allowing compatriots to go to the polls to fulfill their civic duty.
