It’s a great return for Dani Sordo, at the wheel of the Hyundai i20 N Rally1 in the dirt version, among the protagonists of the Legend Stars category from Thursday to Saturday. On Sunday the Bettega Memorial becomes part of the history of Rallylegend, with great names of international rallying: Piero Liatti, Gustavo Trelles, Andrea Aghini, Andrea Navarra, Franco Cunico, Piero Longhi, Armin Schwarz and Raul Marchisio at the start in the Group A Trophy, flanked by four Rally2 cars. Also on display are six original cars by Sandro Munari.
The World Rally Championship doubles at Rallylegend 2026. After M-Sport Ford and the return of Lancia Corse HF, officially announced a few days ago, it is now the turn of Hyundai Motorsport: it will be the second official World Rally Championship team to be present in San Marino, with Dani Sordo and Patricia Saiz on board the Hyundai i20 N Rally1 in the dirt version.
But the “long” weekend in San Marino will have another great scenario, which will ignite the fans: the Bettega Memorial, which after months of waiting finally becomes part of the history of Rallylegend, bringing the two-way challenge born under the spotlights of the Bologna Motorshow back onto the track. Sixteen cars in four categories, WRC, Group B, ex Group A and Rally2, for a very high level comparison.
Precisely in Group A, the Trophy will tell the story of one of the most fascinating seasons in the history of Italian rallying, with Liatti, Trelles, Aghini, Navarra, Cunico, Longhi, Schwarz and Marchisio, while the Rallylegend Village will be transformed into an open-air museum with six original cars by Sandro Munari, as a tribute to the great champion who recently passed away.
Hyundai Motorsport returns to Rallylegend: Dani Sordo and Patricia Saiz with the i20 N Rally1
The World Rally Championship finds another great protagonist in Hyundai Motorsport, the official team of the Korean manufacturer in the World Rally Championship. On the San Marino special stages it will be Dani Sordo, flanked by Patricia Saiz, at the wheel of the Hyundai i20 N Rally1 in the dirt version.
For the Spanish driver, San Marino is not unexplored territory: Sordo has already participated in Rallylegend in 2023, on the occasion of the 21st edition, at the wheel of the Hyundai i20 WRC. A return therefore that will be appreciated by fans, also given the friendliness of the Spaniard, who loves contact with the public.
The Hyundai Motorsport crew will be involved from Thursday to Saturday in the Legend Stars category, non-competitive and designed for entertainment, before tackling the Memorial Bettega on Sunday.

Memorial Bettega: the Group A Trophy returns
The Bettega Memorial on Sunday also turns the spotlight on the Group A Trophy, the challenge that brings back to the track eight protagonists of an era capable of writing unforgettable pages in the history of rallies.
At the start are Piero Liatti (Subaru), Gustavo Trelles (Subaru), Andrea Aghini (Lancia Delta 16V), Andrea Navarra (Subaru), Franco Cunico (Ford Sierra), Piero Longhi (Toyota Celica), Armin Schwarz (Toyota Celica) and Raul Marchisio (Lancia Delta 16V). Alongside them, four Rally2 cars.
Six four-wheeled legends by Sandro Munari on display at the Rallylegend Village
The Rallylegend Village dedicates a special chapter to Sandro Munari, one of the drivers who made the history of Lancia and Italian rallying great: four victories at the Monte Carlo Rally and a title of European Rally Champion link him forever to cars that have become legendary such as the Fulvia HF and the Stratos HF.
For the occasion, six of his original cars will be on display to the public: a more unique than rare opportunity to relive one of the most glorious eras in rallying history up close.
