Weather conditions in the Kingdom of Cambodia for April 17 to 19, 2026.
The fourth storm, Sinlaku T2604, is affecting the northeast monsoon regime blowing over the South China Sea, the Mekong River Basin, the Cambodian Sea and the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The path of the storm will not have a significant impact on the Kingdom of Cambodia.
This situation will cause the weather conditions from April 17 to 19, 2026:
1- Plains:
– Average minimum temperature of 24°C and average maximum temperature of 37°C. Winds from the east and southeast will have an average speed of 2 meters per second. The provinces of Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Siem Reap, Pursat, Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham, Tboung Khmum, Takeo, Kandal and Phnom Penh may experience rain with gusty winds and thunderstorms covering 15% of the area.
2- Plateau:
– Average minimum temperature of 25°C and average maximum temperature of 36°C. Winds from the northeast and east with an average speed of 3 meters/second. Kampong Speu, Pailin, Oddar Meanchey, Kratie, Stung Treng, Preah Vihear, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Dangrek Mountain Range and Cardamom Mountain Range may experience rain with gusts and thunderstorms covering 20% of the area.
3- Coastal areas:
– Average minimum temperature of 24°C and average maximum temperature of 36°C. Winds from the southwest and southeast with an average speed of 2 meters/second. Koh Kong, Sihanoukville, Kampot, Kep and Bokor Mountain Range may experience rain with gusts and thunderstorms covering 15% of the area.
– Sea waves with an average minimum height of 0.50 meters and an average maximum height of 1.00 meters.
