KUWAIT: HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Wednesday visited Kuwait International Airport’s Terminal 1 building just hours after it was severely damaged by a wave of Iranian missile and drone attacks.
Assessing the scope of destruction inflicted upon the facility, HH the Prime Minister, accompanied by Public Authority for Civil Aviation Chief Sheikh Humoud Al-Sabah, listened to a briefing about the intricacies of the Iranian onslaught that killed one person and injured 63 others.
He emphasized the need to enforce stringent measures that would ensure the safety of airport personnel, praising the efforts of Kuwaiti emergency teams for their prompt response to the deadly incident. — KUNA
