Someone has decided that Dajti Mountain will burn this year. It is the third time that the flames were extinguished and suddenly, today the fire is rekindled again. It is surprising that for the first two days the fire is isolated, like a “chimney house smoke”.
And it can be extinguished with a bucket of water from the helicopter and 5 people from the ground.
But it is always allowed to continue. No intervention is made until the flame is spread for miles.
After burning more than half of the forest, somewhere from the seventh or eighth day, a helicopter starts to appear.
The hand that lights it has agreed with the government that you will only put it out after it is well burned. Then I’ll turn it back on. Burn the other half. Then you turn off again. Then I’ll turn it back on.
That’s how we make it in the end.
