“Help your neighbor” is still trying to collect money to buy winter clothes and sleeping gear for the homeless in Nuuk.
The Danish aid organization “Help your neighbor” has purchased sleeping bags for the homeless in Nuuk for DKK 67,000.
They write this in a post on their Facebook page.
They have bought polar sleeping bags and quality ski underwear in Eventyrsport.
– Thanks to Eventyrsport, we have today received sleeping gear and winter clothes worth over DKK 144,000! And we paid DKK 67,485 for that!
The money has been donated to the organisation, and therefore they encourage people to send a contribution so that they can reach the goal of purchasing a total of DKK 120,000 for sleeping gear and winter clothing.
– Let’s help the homeless in Greenland through the winter together.
It is not the first time that the organization is in Greenland. According to an Instagram post they were in Nuuk seven months ago handing out sleeping bags, warm socks, hats and scarves to the homeless.
