President Santiago Peña is packing his suitcases and confirmed an official visit to Quito, Ecuador, on July 30, responding to an invitation from his counterpart Daniel Novoa, with whom he will discuss, among other topics, the fight against organized crime. Foreign Minister Rubén Ramírez also reported that the president will soon travel to Buenos Aires to hold a meeting with his Argentine counterpart Javier Milei. There is a broad agenda with the neighboring country, such as the construction of bridges and waterways.
At a press conference in Mburuvitchá Roga, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ruben Ramirez Lezcanoreported the next visit of President Santiago Peña to Buenos Aires, to hold a bilateral meeting with his Argentine counterpart Javier Milei. The chancellor did not give dates but announced that the broad bilateral agenda includes strategic issues such as Paraguay-Paraná waterwaythe integration bridges —among them Falcón–Clorinda, Misión La Paz–Pozo Hondo and Pilar–Puerto Cano–, as well as aspects related to judicial security and cooperation.
Ramírez Lezcano said that the visit is in response to the invitation extended by President Javier Milei during the Mercosur Summit that took place last December in Foz de Iguazú.
The Foreign Minister clarified that said visit It won’t happen this week.as some widespread versions indicated, since it is still in the official coordination process.
Ramírez Lezcano did not mention whether the leaders discussed the financial situation of Yacyretá.
Peña and Milei have in common that they are allies of the president of the United States, donald trump and the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Visit to Ecuador
On the other hand, Foreign Minister Rubén Ramírez Lezcano confirmed that the president Santiago Peña will make an official visit to the Republic of Ecuador on next July 30, responding to an invitation from the president Daniel Noboa.

The minister said that the visit is part of an agenda aimed at strengthening the regional integration, trade, investments and bilateral cooperation.
Weeks ago, the government of Ecuador asked Paraguay to declare some as a terrorist organization. five drug trafficking groups with links to international cartels. The government of Daniel Noboa is waging a war against organized crime.

Mercosur Summit
Likewise, Rubén Ramírez Lezcano reported that within the framework of the exercise of the Paraguayan presidency pro tempore of the Mercosurthe country is organizing the next Regional bloc summitwhich is expected June 29 and 30.
The agenda includes the Council of Ministers meeting on June 29 and the participation of presidents of the States Partiesas well as other invited heads of state.
