The Governor of Aqaba, Ayman Al-Awaysha, confirmed that the governorate is witnessing an accelerated economic and development movement in various sectors, noting that this growing activity has directly contributed to enhancing the efficiency of supply chains and logistics throughout the Kingdom.
This came during his reception at the Governorate House of the delegation of the Forum of Jordanian Women Parliamentarians, where Al-Awaisheh stressed the importance of the role that Aqaba plays as a strategic economic center that supports the continuity of the flow of goods and services and enhances the readiness of the national logistical infrastructure.
For her part, the President of the Forum of Jordanian Women Parliamentarians, Mrs. Najma Al-Hawawashh, explained that the visit of the delegation, which includes 13 parliamentary figures, comes within the framework of a work program aimed at field inspection of the most prominent achievements achieved in the public sector in Aqaba Governorate, in addition to examining a number of vital issues and related inquiries.
Al-Hawawsha pointed out that the visit highlights the distinguished leadership experiences, especially the role of female directors of official departments in the governorate, and the effective contributions they make in developing institutional performance.
Directors of the directorates in Aqaba presented the work mechanisms followed and the results achieved in light of the current challenges, stressing the adoption of flexible strategies that ensure the continuity of work with high efficiency, and reflect the ability of national institutions to adapt to changes and maintain the pace of achievement in a way that serves the national interest.
