In the incident that took place on the night of March 19 in Ümraniye Sıddık Street, Kubilay Kundakçı, the friend of Vahap Canbay from the Canbay & Wolker group, went to the scene and asked for help to make peace with his ex-girlfriend Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu.
Allegedly, an argument broke out between the group waiting in front of the studio and Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, who came to the scene. 21-year-old Kubilay Kundakçı, who was shot with a gun in the incident, died in the hospital where he was taken.
Speaking after the first hearing of the case regarding the incident, father Cemil Kundakçı made evaluations about the court process in his statement to GÜNAYDIN.
“I REACTED BY SAYING DON’T CALL ME BRO”
Speaking about what happened at the hearing, Cemil Kundakçı made the following statements about Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu’s attitude in the court:
“While Aleyna was speaking in court, when Kubilay’s topic came up, she tearfully uttered a word like ‘Cemil brother’. I reacted by saying, ‘Don’t call me brother.’ They are fake, mother and daughter act very well. In my opinion, Aleyna fell in love with Canbay to enter the music industry, she used him. Kubilay was also such a brother to Aleyna. Kubilay even carried his sick sister down the stairs on his back. Before Bodrum, Aleyna had a concert in Fethiye. Kubilay took him to the concert. He was very interested and treated him like a brother. But Aleyna used the word ‘errand’ for my son. When we heard this, we were shot for the second time. It means he used my son’s good intentions and helpfulness… Aleyna made a statement while she was dating Canbay. He said, ‘If I have a problem when I break up with a lover, I will report it to my new lover, so he can do what is necessary.’ “The girl also has such a psychopathic side… Now, the statement she made about that lover came into play when she broke up with Canbay, and she implemented it and caused the death of my son.”
Kundakçı also claimed that his son was a helpful person and supported Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu before the incident.
”MY SON’S GOOD WILL WAS USED”
The grieving father stated that his son was a self-sacrificing person towards his environment and that he felt great resentment after what happened.
