Ayyoub Bouaddi player Morocco, spoke about rumors of a possible transfer to the English Premier League after his impressive performance in Morocco’s opening match at the World Cup.
The playing midfielder Lille in France drew a lot of attention when he controlled the midfield in the 1:1 draw against Morocco Brazil yesterday.
Bouaddi is believed to be high on Arsenal’s list, but the club have been monitoring him for some time. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is said to be a fan of the player, but Paris SG and Chelsea are also said to be interested in securing his services.
Focusing on the World Cup
Despite the intense debate about his future, Bouaddi is not fazed. When he was asked about interest from the English Premier League and a possible transfer to Arsenal, he answered with great consideration.
“At the moment I’m only focused on the World Cup and I can’t answer this right now,” Bouaddi told the reporter David Ornstein after the game.
“Of course, I’m very happy to know that clubs are interested in me. But for now, all my focus is on the World Cup with Morocco. We’re going to give everything to get the best results.”
Bouaddi, who will turn 19 in October, is studying mathematics at university alongside his career as a professional soccer player.
