Missing for several days, 30-year-old found drowned in the Osum River

A tragic event has shaken the city of Berat, where a 30-year-old man who had been reported missing for several days was found without signs of life.
The victim, a resident of the “Çlirimi” neighborhood, had lost contact with his family since April 30. His father had filed a missing person report with the police authorities.
Following the testimonies of several local residents, who claimed to have seen the young man jump into the Osum River, police and search and rescue forces launched an operation along the river.
After several hours of intensive searching, the 30-year-old’s body was located this afternoon near the village of Remanicë. /TCh/
