The parties discussed the situation within the OSCE and the broader region, internal processes within the organization, ways to restore its role, and practical cooperation between Belarus and OSCE institutions and executive structures.Igor Sekreta emphasized that Belarus remains open to cooperation with OSCE institutions on humanitarian and electoral issues, as well as matters related to the work of media outlets and journalists, while insisting on a professional dialogue conducted in a spirit of mutual respect.
Igor Sekreta also highly praised Feridun Sinirlioglu’s contribution to efforts aimed at restoring the normal functioning of the OSCE and strengthening its role in addressing security challenges in the region.In addition, he conveyed a personal invitation from Belarusian Foreign Affairs Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov for the OSCE secretary general to attend the 4th Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, scheduled to take place in November 2026.
