Railway administrations of Belarus, Russia’s Kaliningrad Oblast determine cooperation vectors

MINSK, 17 June (BelTA) – The authorities of Rechitsa District have taken all necessary measures to ensure the prompt return home of people injured in an attack on a bus in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast, BelTA learned from the Telegram channel of the Rechitsa District Executive Committee.

“Everything necessary will be done to ensure our citizens return home to their families as soon as possible. Transport arrangements, further medical care and support for the injured have been resolved and will be implemented immediately as soon as the children are able to travel. We will not leave any family alone with this tragedy and will provide support to everyone,” Chairman of the Rechitsa District Executive Committee Sergei Dovgalev said.

He also urged the public to remain calm, rely only on official sources of information and refrain from spreading unverified rumors.

As BelTA previously reported, on 17 June a bus belonging to Rechitsa Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 2 was struck by a drone in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast. The bus, which was traveling from Belarus on the Gomel-Gelendzhik route, was carrying 44 passengers, including 28 young athletes. All of them were on their way to a holiday camp.
