MINSK, 17 June (BelTA) – Belarusian citizens injured in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast will be transported to Belarus for medical treatment, Belarusian Healthcare Minister Aleksandr Khodzhayev told the media, BelTA has learned.
“Our colleagues have reached the injured people. Specialists from Moscow have also arrived at the scene. At present, the condition of our patients has been assessed. Two patients are in serious condition: one adult and one child,” Aleksandr Khodzhayev said.
According to the minister, Russian medical authorities offered to provide treatment at healthcare facilities in the Russian Federation. However, the head of state instructed that Belarusian citizens be transferred to Belarus for further medical care.
“A medical helicopter is currently being prepared and will be used to transport our citizens to Belarus for treatment,” Aleksandr Khodzhayev said. 
As previously reported, specialists of national level: anaesthesiologists and reanimatologists, paediatric surgeons, and specialists from the Republican Center for Gunshot Trauma – were dispatched from Minsk to Bryansk to assist the victims.
