Consumer Reports awarded Mazda first place in its global safety ranking, Safety Verdict. In Panama, Grupo Silaba – exclusive distributor of the brand – receives the Volume Increase Award 2025 for the second consecutive year, driven by confidence in its vehicles.
Mazda was named the safest car brand in the world by Consumers Reports, through the Safety Verdict, a standard that rigorously and comprehensively evaluated vehicle safety performance in real-world conditions.
The Safety Verdict analyzed four key dimensions: accident prevention through advanced technologies, braking performance, emergency maneuvers, occupant protection against different types of impact and ease of use of controls. Mazda excelled in all of these areas thanks to its focus on intuitive physical controls, standard i-Activsense technology, and predictable handling that builds driver confidence.
This achievement reflects the human-centered engineering philosophy: Each vehicle is designed so that driving feels natural and instinctive, allowing risks to be anticipated before technology intervenes.
