Spanish Ducati rider Mark Marquez is the winner of today’s race in the Moto GP championship for the Czech Grand Prix on the track in Brno.
Markez achieved victory in the Czech Republic with a score of 39:51.29. Today, the Spaniard recorded the 101st victory in his career in all categories, and reached the 75th triumph in the “royal class”.
The second place at the Czech Grand Prix was won by the Japanese rider of the Trekhaus team, Ai Ogura, who was 0.421 seconds behind the winner.
Italian Ducati rider Francesco Banya was third, 2.255 seconds behind Marquez.
General ranking
The first place in the general standings is held by Italian Aprilia driver Marko Beceki with 180 points, while the second place is Spanish Jorge Martin, also from Aprilia, with 172.
Beceki did not drive at the Czech Grand Prix, as he was disqualified from the main race on Saturday.
After flying off the track during a sprint on the track in Brno, he pushed and hit the steward who was trying to get to his motorcycle.
The next race in the Moto GP championship will be held on June 28 for the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen.
