Electronic invoicing: The first edition of the Morocco CFO/DAF Meetings keeps its promises.
This event, organized on Tuesday in Casablanca by the Interbank Monetary Center (CMI), took place in a context marked by the gradual evolution of the regulatory framework around electronic invoicing, the acceleration of digital payment, the integration of ERPs, APIs, automation, data and artificial intelligence, thus transforming the way in which organizations invoice, collect, settle, reconcile and manage their activity.
“The transformation of the finance function is no longer limited to the digitalization of payment. It now affects the entire financial cycle of the company: invoicing, collection, payment, reconciliation, management and exploitation of data. With this first Meeting of CFOs / DAFs of Morocco, the CMI wanted to create a space of convergence between institutions, companies, banks, technological players and experts, in order to support a structuring change for the Moroccan economy,” declared Rachid Saihi, general director of the CMI.
By creating this meeting, the CMI wanted to open a space for dialogue between public, private, financial and technological actors, in order to support financial decision-makers in understanding the transformations that impact their professions. This initiative is part of its role as a structuring player in the digitalization of transactional flows and as a facilitator of ecosystems, at the crossroads of administrations, banks, payment institutions, companies and technological platforms.
