Investigations are continuing to locate him 22-year-old student from Bangladesh, who was allegedly kidnapped in Larnaca, with the kidnappers demanding a ransom from his father. According to information from filenews, the Police is looking for the trace of the mobile phone of the young man, who around 6:30 yesterday evening, left the house where he lives in Oroklini, to go to a factory in the Kofinou area for the first day, for work.
Evidence from closed surveillance circuits is also being sought to reveal the route followed by the young man, who had sent his location to his friends.
The complaint was submitted by his roommate, shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Friday (12/6). Later last night, the 22-year-old’s father, who lives in Greece, received a phone call from an unknown person, as well as phone messages, asking him to pay a sum of money in exchange for the 22-year-old’s release.
