Kensington Oval will turn blue today as the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) stages a special fundraising initiative for the Sir Clive Lloyd Health Care Foundation, which supports the fight against prostate cancer, during the Eliminator between home side Barbados Tridents and Jamaica Kingsmen.
Patrons attending the match, which gets under way at 7 p.m., are being encouraged to wear blue in a show of support. The initiative forms part of the CPL’s continued commitment to cancer awareness as the 2026 season approaches its conclusion on September 20.
Signed blue caps from CPL players will be auctioned during the evening, with proceeds going to the Sir Clive Lloyd Health Care Foundation. Fans at the ground, as well as those watching around the world, will also be able to donate in support of the cause.
The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League continues to place community well-being at the heart of its showpiece event, with cancer awareness remaining a key priority as the tournament enters its final stages.
