Gamal Arif, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Gardino” Company, said that the company depends on tomatoes directly from farms, explaining that it is the largest factory in Upper Egypt, as it deals with about 500 tons of tomatoes daily to produce tomato concentrate.
Manufacture of high quality concentrates
Gamal Arif added, during his hosting of the “Her Excellency” program presented by the artist and media personality Esaad Younis on the DMC channel, in an episode entitled “Made in Egypt,” that the production of tomato concentrate takes place at a rate of one ton for every 7.5 tons of tomatoes, which reflects the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
Various production and packaging lines
Jamal Arif explained that the company has integrated production lines to manufacture the sauce and package it in different containers to suit the needs of the market, while ensuring that the products are free of artificial colors.
Natural products and economical use
Jamal Arif pointed out that a container of sauce is enough to prepare about 5 pasta meals, pointing out the variety of product sizes to meet the needs of consumers.
Export expansion and future plans
Jamal Arif concluded that the company currently exports to about 23 countries, and aims to raise the export rate to 50% within two years, while maintaining the provision of 100% natural products.
