The Irbid Governorate Health Directorate completed the project to modernize dental clinics in a number of its health centers in the Koura District, where four advanced dental chairs and five modern sterilization devices were delivered, with the aim of raising the level of medical services provided to the citizens of the district and developing the infrastructure for primary health care.
The head of the follow-up and supervision department in the directorate, Dr. Sarhan Al-Brahma, stated that four vital centers had been handed over, namely (Kafr Abel First Health Center, Beit Idis First Health Center, Ashrafieh First Health Center, and Jenin Al-Safa First Health Center).
Al-Brahma pointed out that the modernization was not limited to dental chairs only, but some centers in the district were also provided with advanced sterilization devices to ensure the application of the best safety and health quality standards for patients.
Al-Brahma confirmed that the supply of these devices came as part of a tender from the Irbid Governorate Council in direct coordination with the Ministry of Health. He explained that this step reflects the directorate’s keenness to keep pace with medical development and provide devices that ensure the provision of accurate and safe medical service.
He said that we in the Health Affairs Directorate are taking steady and deliberate steps to strengthen the health care system, and we are constantly working to improve services for citizens and overcome all obstacles to ensure that distinguished health service reaches those who deserve it in their places of residence.
This initiative comes as part of the directorate’s strategy to modernize obsolete medical equipment, as the new chairs and sterilization devices contribute to raising the efficiency of work in dental clinics and reducing waiting times, which reflects positively on citizens’ satisfaction and improving the health sector’s outputs in the governorate.
