The memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran has not yet been signed and changes are likely, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Friday.
He also pointed out that the nuclear issues will be discussed at a later stage, but also that the Lebanon in the memorandum. In the same interview he claimed that Iran is the winner of the war. “The best time to end a war is when you have the upper hand: we are truly victorious on the battlefield, we have stood up to the world’s superpower for 40 days,” he said in the interview, arguing that the deal cemented victory.

For the Straits of HormuzAragchi spoke directly about fees to be charged for services in the Straits. “Undoubtedly, the Straits will be under the sovereignty of Iran and Oman, there is no international waterway in the Straits,” he said.
The text of the Memorandum of Cooperation has been changed several times, the Iranian minister pointed out.
The nuclear issue has been postponed, explaining that the negotiations are taking place in two stages. “The US nuclear demands were not at all acceptable to us at this stage,” he said.
As for Iran’s frozen assets, they will be released and handed over to Tehran.
The Memorandum of Cooperation will announce the end of the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, with the minister stressing that “we will never leave Lebanon alone.”
This agreement, the Iranian minister finally said, “has opponents and the first one is the Israeli regime that looks for occasions and opportunities to undermine it”.
