Iran – Oman: First meeting of the joint committee on the Straits of Hormuz

Iran and Oman held the first meeting of the joint committee on the Straits of Hormuzaccording to a statement by Iran’s deputy foreign minister.

THE Kazem Garibabadi reported through platform X that the meeting took place in Muscatwhere the two sides exchanged views on the sovereign rights of the Gulf coastal states, as well as on the future management of the Straits.

As he noted, the discussion was based on the interim agreement signed earlier this month between Tehran and Washington.
