If elections were held again, the Democrats and Resni.ce would not be in the DZ
If the elections had been held last Sunday, SDS would have convinced the majority of voters (24.2 percent), followed by Gibanje Svoboda with 23.2 percent. The President of the Republic Nataša Pirc Musar is at the top of the list of politicians’ popularity, followed by SD President Matjaž Han and European Commissioner Marta Kos, according to the Mediana poll for POP TV.
According to this survey, the trio of NSi, SLS and Fokus would come in third place with 8.6 percent of the vote, SD in fourth with 5.9 percent, and Levica and Vesna in fifth with 5.7 percent support. The Democrats would receive 4.1 percent of the vote, Rešnica 3.8 percent, Prerod 2.8 percent, and the other parties 4.8 percent of the vote.
7.9 percent of respondents answered that they did not know who they would vote for. 5.2 percent of respondents would not vote for any of the listed parties, and 3.9 percent did not want to give an answer.
In the ranking of politicians’ popularity, from the fourth place onwards, the Vice President of NSi Janez Cigler Kralj, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, who handles current business, Tanja Fajon, and the President of Gibanja Svoboda and the Prime Minister, who handles current business, Robert Golob, follow.
They are followed by the co-coordinator of the Left and the deputy prime minister, who handles current business, Luka Mesec, and MEP and president of the non-parliamentary party Prerod Vladimir Prebilič. The top ten are completed by NSi president Jernej Vrtovec and vice president Gibanja Svoboda and the outgoing government, Matej Archon.
The SDS champion Janez Janša ranked 18th, and the President of the DZ Zoran Stevanović was one place behind him.
The Mediana Institute for Market and Media Research conducted the survey between April 21 and 23 on a representative sample of 722 adult residents of Slovenia.
