Haradinaj: We are not part of the session, movement without consultation

The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has announced that his party’s MPs will not participate in the extraordinary session on the presidential issue, which is expected to start at 19:00 PM.
Haradinaj stated to reporters that as a party they have been excluded from cooperation to find solutions in this regard.
“We have really been excluded from cooperation to find a solution. Maybe if we had been part of the process from the beginning, maybe we could have helped them, what is important is not to continue with the violation of the Constitution and voting without a quorum, because it is taking the country in a dangerous direction…. We are not part of the session. This is a move without consultation, without agreement, without a deal,” he said.
Asked if he heard the criticisms of Prime Minister Albin Kurti directed at the opposition during a media conference he held today, the AAK leader said that it has been a while since he saw the speeches of the Kosovo chief executive.
The constitutional deadline for electing the country’s president is still 5 hours away. If there is no solution to this issue, the country will go to early parliamentary elections. The candidates for president are Feride Rushiti and Hatixe Hoxha./KP
