Nabil Khaled Kanoo, President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, confirmed that the supreme speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, during his presidency of the regular weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers, reflected a solid national vision based on protecting the nation’s supreme interests, strengthening the unity of the national ranks, and preserving the achievements achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain, ensuring the continuation of the process of construction and development and consolidating the Kingdom’s position at various levels.
He expressed great pride in the speech’s appreciation of the positions of the people of Bahrain, its national institutions, and various societal activities, stressing that the awareness, responsibility and rallying around their country and its wise leadership demonstrated by citizens embodies the strength of national cohesion, which was and still is one of the most important factors of Bahrain’s strength and its ability to overcome challenges and continue progress with stability and confidence.
The President of the Chamber pointed out that His Majesty the King’s emphasis on the importance of protecting the home front and preserving the unity of the national ranks reflects the keenness to provide the basic components for the continuation of the process of construction and development, pointing out that the security, stability and well-established institutions that Bahrain enjoys have contributed to building an attractive economic environment and enabled the business community to contribute effectively to supporting economic growth, attracting investments and providing quality opportunities.
He added that the High Speech’s emphasis on the importance of regional stability and the return of freedom of navigation as soon as possible reflects a deep awareness of the importance of protecting the movement of trade and supply chains and ensuring the continuity of economic activities, especially in a region that represents a vital corridor for international trade, noting that the security and stability of sea lanes is directly reflected in the movement of trade, investment and the regional and global economy.
