Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), met with Roland Lescure, Minister of Economy and Finance and French Minister of Industry, Energy and Digitization, as part of the Minister of Finance’s participation in the “Choose France” summit hosted by the French Republic.
During the meeting, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the close relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly French Republic based on solid foundations of cooperation and coordination in various fields, especially in the financial and economic fields, pointing out the importance of building on the partnership achieved between the two countries, and exchanging experiences and expertise in order to achieve the aspirations and desired goals.
During the meeting, they reviewed the paths of financial and economic cooperation between the two countries, and ways to enhance them, in addition to discussing regional and international economic developments, and a number of topics of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Essam Abdulaziz Al-Jassim, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the French Republic, Khalid Amr Al-Rumaihi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Aluminum Company “Alba”, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company.
