Gulf News | Shura Speaker: The King’s speech translates a firm national approach to preserving sovereignty, deepening the meanings of national loyalty and popular solidarity against every traitor and accomplice with Bahrain’s enemies.

A number of citizens confirmed that the speech addressed by His Majesty the King of the country came to embody a clear and decisive national position in affirming the constants of the state and strengthening the unity of the national ranks, noting that it reflected strong messages that reinforce the concept of a state based on law and institutions, and consolidate the priority of protecting Bahrain’s security and stability in light of various challenges.

They explained that the royal speech stressed the importance of national alignment behind the leadership, and the rejection of any practices or positions that would undermine national unity or weaken the home front, stressing that the responsibility to protect the homeland is a collective responsibility that falls on all segments of society without exception.

Saad Al-Dosari stressed that in countries that respect their constitutional frameworks, issues of sovereignty are not raised for political discussion or circumstantial bidding, explaining that the issue of nationality is at the heart of the sovereign jurisdiction of the state, which the executive authority exercises in accordance with its assessment of the supreme interest and the requirements of national security.

Al-Dosari pointed out that the King’s speech was clear and decisive, stressing that the sovereignty and security of the Kingdom of Bahrain is a red line, and that citizenship is not just a legal status, but rather a connection based on loyalty and belonging to the homeland.

He added that what raises concern is the attempt by some members of the legislative authority to dispute the sovereign powers of the executive authority, and to question the tools guaranteed by the Constitution to preserve the state and protect its entity, which raises a problem related to the limits of powers within the framework of the principle of separation of powers.

He clarified that the parliamentary role, despite its importance, does not allow for contesting or undermining the work of sovereignty, warning against turning crucial issues, most notably the nationality file, into material for political controversy, which will affect the cohesion of the internal front.

For his part, Ibrahim Khalil stressed that His Majesty the King’s speech was national, decisive, and honestly expressed the pulse of the Bahraini street. It came to confirm the established national constants and renew the rally around the leadership in the face of the challenges the country is going through.

He explained that the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain stand united in defense of their homeland, its security and stability, rejecting any form of treason or harm to the homeland’s security, regardless of its source or justification, even if it comes from some legislators who are supposed to be at the front of the ranks to protect the homeland.

He added that the responsibility of legislators imposes on them to be a voice for the nation and not a tool to weaken it or provoke division, stressing that this stage requires clarity and commitment to national constants.

On the same level, Areej Haddad confirmed that His Majesty the King’s speech came to affirm the constants of the Kingdom of Bahrain in protecting its sovereignty and unity in the face of various challenges, and reflects the clarity of vision and firmness of position in consolidating stability and preserving national gains.

She explained that the speech stressed that national responsibility requires sincere alignment behind the interests of the nation, away from any other considerations, including positions related to the legislative institution.

She added that the regret expressed by His Majesty regarding some of the positions highlights the importance of adhering to national constants, and the need for legislative performance to be consistent with the requirements of the stage, in a way that strengthens the unity of the ranks and does not weaken it.

She also pointed out that the messages conveyed by the royal speech reflect the pulse of the Bahraini street, which considers unity to be a red line, and sees protecting the nation’s security and stability as a responsibility that does not accept complacency or hesitation.

For his part, Dr. confirmed. Salah Al-Jowder said that the sublime speech of His Majesty the King came to strengthen the unity of the national ranks and protect the home front in light of extremely sensitive regional circumstances, stressing the importance of cohesion behind the leadership.

He explained that the delicate regional stage requires the highest levels of national awareness, especially in light of the tensions the region is witnessing, stressing that Bahrain, despite its lack of direct involvement in the conflicts, remains part of a regional environment that requires vigilance and alignment.

He stressed that the unity of ranks behind His Majesty the King and His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister represents the basic foundation for protecting the security and stability of the country, noting that any positions within the legislative institution that are not consistent with this trend raises questions among citizens.

He added that the citizen chose his representatives to enhance stability, not provoke division, and that the Bahraini street rejects any practices that affect the cohesion of society or threaten its unity.

Mohammed Al-Dhaen, a former municipal council member, confirmed that His Majesty the King’s speech to the media reflected a firm national approach to protecting the security and stability of Bahrain, praising the clear messages it conveyed that the nation’s security is a red line that cannot be compromised.

He added that the royal speech warmed the hearts of citizens, enhanced confidence and reassurance, and reflected the extent of cohesion between the leadership and the people, stressing that the people of Bahrain stand united behind their leadership.

He explained that the current stage requires clear positions from everyone, especially from the representatives of the people, far from any efforts that might affect the unity of the ranks or weaken the internal front.

He stressed that the Bahraini street interacted widely with the speech, as it is an affirmation of national constants and a clear message that Bahrain will remain safe and stable with the cohesion of its leadership and people.

For her part, poet Jihan Muhammad confirmed that His Majesty the King’s speech was clear and decisive in rejecting any deviation from national constants, noting that he affirmed that Bahrain is a state of institutions governed by law and the constitution.

She explained that some of the positions issued do not represent the Bahraini street, and that the royal speech put things back in perspective and protected the state’s prestige and status, stressing the importance of commitment to national responsibility within legislative work.

She added that the wisdom of leadership appears in critical moments, and that the speech stressed that red lines cannot be crossed, and that the national interest remains above all considerations.

On the same level, Abdullah Al-Shawish appreciated the speech of His Majesty the King in which he affirmed that the homeland is above all, and that Bahrain is a trust in the hands of its people, indicating that this approach reflects well-established principles in protecting the state.

He stressed that this stage cannot tolerate gray situations, but rather requires a clear alignment behind the nation and its leadership, stressing that Bahraini citizenship is a national value that only the loyal deserve.

He added that anyone proven to be involved in harming the nation’s security bears full legal responsibility, calling for a unified national position in the face of any threats.

For his part, Osama Ibrahim Al-Shaer stressed that His Majesty the King’s speech consolidated the values of true citizenship and made unity among the ranks the basis of Bahrain’s strength.

He said that the speech constituted a stance of national pride that affirmed that Bahrain is a trust in the hands of everyone, and that loyalty to it is a covenant and covenant that cannot be neglected.

He praised the speech’s firmness towards anyone who threatens the nation’s security or deviates from the national consensus, stressing that popular rally around the leadership is a safety valve in the face of challenges.

The citizens concluded by affirming that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under its leadership and people, is capable of overcoming various challenges with the unity of its ranks and the cohesion of its people, calling for the continuation of national cohesion, enhancing the spirit of responsibility, and preserving the nation’s security and stability, so that it remains a model of stability and prosperity.
