Washington – Qena:
Google has officially announced the launch of a new feature in the search engine called “Information Agents” supported by generative artificial intelligence via “AI Mode”, transforming the search platform from a system that waits for user commands to a proactive system that monitors the web around the clock.
This technology is an advanced tool that allows users to continuously monitor the Internet and obtain instant updates on topics that interest them without having to search repeatedly.
Robbie Stein, Vice President of Search Products at Google, confirmed that the feature has already begun to reach all global markets that support “AI Mode” in all available languages, provided that the user is a subscriber to the “Google AI Ultra” package as an immediate priority for the current launch.
This new technology works continuously in the background to monitor news, websites and live data based on the user’s interests, while providing smart summaries of updates that include links to original sources as soon as any change occurs, giving the user a more flexible and reliable monitoring experience compared to traditional alert systems.
Google indicated that this feature will gradually expand the scope of its introduction within the supported markets to also include users of “Google AI Pro” plans and other categories during the summer of this year, as it is expected to become an essential and pivotal tool for users and professionals who need continuous and accurate monitoring of specific fields without frequent manual intervention.
