Sali Berisha appeared again today in a conversation with his followers on social networks and, for the seventh time in a week, he told the Albanians about his meetings in the USA.
In the same appearance, he accused SPAK of serving Edi Rama and presented the prime minister as terrified of the possibility of a confrontation with justice.
But the most significant moment was neither the attack on SPAK nor the next confession about America. It was a question from “follower” Greta Beqiri.
With a little attention, it turns out that Mrs. Beqiri is not just a citizen who asks from social networks, but an employee of the DP press office, the person who distributes the party’s announcements to the groups of journalists.
Asked questions are not new in Albanian politics. Everyone does it: prime ministers, party leaders, ministers and deputies. But even propaganda requires some care. Theater also requires a bit of direction.
In the case of DP, it seems that even this could not be done. Floriana Garo and the communication team could have at least found an anonymous name, instead of sending the question “from the citizens” to the press office.
This does not speak of Berisha’s lack of communication skills. On the contrary, he has been for decades one of the politicians most capable of dominating the public scene.
But today he seems surrounded by people so incompetent that every outing that should help him ends up making him look ridiculous.
When the “spontaneous” questions come from the press office, the problem is no longer just the message. The problem is the direction./Vna
