BRISTOL – Two people died in an explosion in a house in Bristol in the south of England, after which the police described the event as a “major incident”.

Police from Avon and Somerset were called to the home at around 6.30am yesterday morning (May 3), when they cordoned off the area and evacuated nearby residents from their homes to a “temporary holiday centre”, reports BBC.
“Given the recent change in the threat level in Great Britain, we want to inform the public from the outset that we are not treating this incident as a suspected terrorist attack,” the police said. They asked the public to avoid the area while emergency services were on the scene.
